Contextual Marketing Overview
Contextual marketing is advertising that is "In context" to what's on the website. This means that our ads must match the message & reason that they visited that site in the first place. There are a few different types of "contextual" ads that can be used depending on the website owner's preferences, and the service used.
In text advertising (Value Click Media) - is where any time a specific word or phrase is used in the document, that word becomes instantly clickable directly to our landing page from within the article, news story or other texts.
Banner Advertising - Quite similar to traditional banner ad networks, with the exception that the banners are not random. They only show up specific to the content on the page. This means that if the page isn't about car rental, car driving (or whatever topics we choose to write an ad on) then they do not show up.
Text Based Ads - These ads match the context of the pages we advertise on. They're much like a Google PPC ad with the exception that they show up on the websites we choose from a list of related topic sites.
